My Views As A Theistic Satanist

Often times I will be asked, "What kind of a Satanist are you?" Well, I would like to answer that question by stating that I had started out as a Modern Satanist because  at the time I thought there was only one kind of Satanism.  Soon after,  I joined the Church of Satan. It was after I came across two websites called Spiritual Satanist and Theistic Satanism when  I realized there was more to Satanism than I originally thought.
Once I got acquainted with Venus Satanas on her Facebook page, she encouraged me to seek my own path without caring what others thought. Taking her advice and thinking about my experiences growing up, I began to realize I was more a Theistic Satanist than I was Modern. I began writing books and articles about the knowledge I gained through my journey and this is how my two most popular blogs, Satanic Pride and Diary of a Satanist came to be. It is my belief that helping and encouraging others who are just starting out to do the same is very important for the Satanic Community. It is also a beautiful and rewarding experience when you have individuals who say they like your Satanic Ideals.

It is important for any beginning Satanist to dig deep within themselves and read everything they can get their hands on no matter what that material may be.  Even I have five  Holy Bibles kept in my closet that I will read occasionally for historic purposes because I feel it's important to keep up to date with what is going on in the world of Christianity as well as the world we live in. Knowledge is power. The more knowledge you gain, the more valuable you become to the Satanic Community and right now, in the world we live in, that is a necessity.

Theistic Satanism is different than Modern because we see Satan as more than a symbol of pride or freedom. To us, he is actually an entity who encourages individual thinking,  a force behind nature,  the God of this world, the God of our flesh, the God of our mind, and the God of our own innermost Will.  Personally, Theistic Satanism is having an open and sensible mind and accepting those of different cultures, as well as religion. Since I know that no two people are alike, opinions vary, and Satanic views aren't always going to be the same, which means no two people are going to be 100% acceptable of other peoples' opinions and beliefs. We all have different tastes in everything we do and different lifestyles but, that in itself, does not mean we cannot be Satanists.

As I have grown in just a short time,  my belief in my him grows stronger every day, I feel it is important to thank him each and every day for the freedom that we have. After all, if it wasn't for Satan standing up to God in the first place, we would still be slaves to Christianity. It is through him that we have this freedom to think for ourselves and to claim self ownership. But be aware that there are still people who are trying to make us slaves to Christian morals because of their beliefs and how they view and live by the bible, and these are the people that we have to be aware of.

As a Theistic Satanist, it is important for me to live my life to the fullest and to live to the best of my ability. With Satan watching over me, I know I will have his blessing.

If you anyone has any questions they would like to ask me or would just like to talk about Satanism in general, you can contact me at http://www.facebook.com/eleanor.everett or you can simply write to me at infinitydiabolus@gmail.com and I would be more than happy to be of assistance. I would like to thank Venus Satanas and Diane Vera for their encouragement through this rewarding journey and for being valuable  leaders in the Satanic Community. For those who are wondering, I am no longer a member of the Church of Satan.

  4. You are truly a lovely person. I love how you embrace individuality to no end, in a respectable way that overpowers any others. I've seen so many people oppose different beliefs, even in the satanic community, but really the only true enemy in my belief is god and the world of judaism/christianity, not satanism.
Satanism encourages free will and power, whereas god wants a world of sheep to be lead to slaughter.

I've always found myself deeply fascinated by darkness since a child. I always found the most beautiful things in my childhood to be dark, obscure beautiful women in occult like mideval attire deep in dark forrests.
Mystical dark mysterious powers are what has driven me to become a spiritual satanist. I have very limited experience, but I've been leading my life through the ministies of High Priest Maxine Dietrich's 'JoS' (Joy of Satan), making my whole mindset and spirit to what I consider the core of Satanism; Satan himself.
And it is my belief that he leads people in spiritual prowess, which in turn bestows knowledge and power.
The knowledge of greatest importance to me is having the straight path of spiritual transcendation, whislt being aware of all other religions ideals.

I hope to one day be powerful enough to perform exceptional magical feats, and I will further persue my research into the occult in hopes to become as spiritually powerful as can be.

-and a note to the CoS and the ideology of Anton LaVey: I hold his influence in the satanic world as a blessing and have always admired his incredible knowledge of religion. But I wouldn't consider the CoS to have anything that I seek, they seem to philosophical and not too spiritual. But I have nothing against their principles, it's just something that doesn't suit me.

*Thanks for reading my random post, I hope someone may have found it interesting. I have very limited inteligence, but maintain great persistance and love for all I hold dear in my religion and life.

  8. I'm really confused..... How exactly are you an independent Satanist when you follow a herd? I mean no disrespect, but Theistic Satanism is in the same ball park as Atheistic "Modern" Satanism.. I consider myself an independent Satanist because I am non affiliated in regards to the groups or labels. Personally, I think Anton got it all wrong, he turned a good, liberating thing into a F***'n circus for all the hottopic goths to parade about with their sigil of Baphomet, misinforming the rest of the world that you have to wear black and rock esoteric symbols to be a Satanist. Personally I'm a religious fascist, I hate... a better word, I abhor all religion that places the individual as being "Special" or "unique" or of any intrinsic value. Sure, I could call it good and say "I'm an Atheistic Satanist" but that's hardly the picture... I'm a hedonist, a Nihilist and I love stirring the pot. Once again, I mean no disrespect, If I did I would let you know exactly how I felt. I see nothing "independent" about either path, I have debated this for ages with others but frankly, I could give a shit less about their opinions. They claim to be wolves among the sheep but I'm the only one I know who walks the less traveled path. There is no doctrine for me, no infatuations for dead clowns like Anton... just myself and the cult of me.

  9. I must also add, this blog is a cesspool.

To quote nick lacey "your blog has helped me so much in understanding satism and for that i just want to say, Thank You." really goes to show the herd mentality that surrounds your path. None of these people think for themselves, they just subscribe to what ever someone who graduated high school has to say. They give no sort of educated response, they just agree without question... Satanism is a personal journey, not this "omg I love you, thanks boo" fucking Kumbaya bullshit I see in these comments.

  11. will continue questioning relentlessly, I will challenge what not only you believe but what i believe and I will never respect anyone's sense of reality or purpose without reason I see fit. Bob's your uncle, you're a real "traditional" Satanist. Now go fourth you majestic beast, breed your flock so that they may live in your shadow. I would love to make you all kool-aid.......

    1. You think satanism is only a poor philosophy of individuality? That seems to be quite popular nowadays. I think that's just a prejudice you've read somewhere. And after you read it, you became all puffed up, and now you're just full of pride and vainglory, telling all the people in the world, how wonderfully individualistic and "different" from everyone else you are. But that's not the case: everyone else also think they're very special, and are also always right, and puffed up. So what that makes of you? You're just like everyone else.

  12. Hi.

I've come around occult people saying all the time, that christianity is about moral – even Nietzsche said that in his Antichrist, although he probably should have known better, since he descended from Lutheran ministers.
Where did you learn, that christianity is about morals? How do you prove it? Are you just taking that for granted, without questioning it?
Did you know, that according to one of the most famous theologians of our time, christianity has basically nothing to do with morals? According to Luther, christianity means also the freedom of will from the commands, which pertain to morals.
The kingdom of heaven, which unites persons to Christ, is even said to be the kingdom of individual conscience, not something you can share with other people, and which can not be formed to a publically shareable habit.
This kingdom is open only to those, who believe in Christ; there is your true difference to christians. You think, you get your freedom from yourself, but according to Luther, only God gives to man, what is his own. For man can not even give himself what is properly his. There has always been people, and will be, who don't believe in Christ, but you should at least question your interpretation of christianity.
There are decent ground in the Bible for saying what Luther says; the so called Bible- principle was basically his historically new invention, although it represented an endeavoured return to the origins of christianity, in a time when interpreting christianity in terms of morals was mainstream.
